Anti Coalition Rally Downtown NanaimoThe weather was not terrific, it was a Saturday morning and above all, this is Canada, where we are all oh so polite and hardly ever protest anything.
Yet a large number of people were on hand to demonstrate their dislike and distrust of a coalition government. The message to all politicians is simple 'just quit the nonsense and do your jobs'.
There were also some people in favour of the coalition but they were clearly outnumbered by those opposed, which is pretty much in line with recent polls on the matter.
If you can pry Canadians out of their comfy houses and away from their Saturday morning routines, to stand in the cold and sometimes damp outdoors ..... you know something has touched a nerve!
