Lawrence Dean Bergstrom Wanted By RCMP

Arrest Warrant

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Lawrence Dean BERGSTOM after a search by Nanaimo RCMP on Wednesday at a residence located at Twilight way.

BERGSTROM is wanted for Possession of Stolen Property under $5000 and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm ,both Criminal Code Offences.

BERGSTROM age 37 is described as being 5 ft 10 220 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes .He has numerous tattoos and most notably one with a Hells Angels sign on his right forearm.

Found In Twilight Way Home

The Nanaimo RCMP Property Crime Unit assisted by the North Island Emergency Response Team carried out a search warrant at in the 2700 block of Twilight Way.

Two males were in the residence at the time and were arrested without incident. A third male associated to the same residence and currently a full patch member of the Nanaimo Hells Angels is being sought. A warrant is expected to be issued for his arrest.

Found in the residence, described as a rural sprawling two story home, were several firearms, most notably a loaded 12 gauge shotgun and a high powered rifle. A 22 calibre handgun was also seized.

Many stolen computers and electronic items were found along with materials used in fraud and identity theft crimes.Disturbingly, emergency personnel equipment was also located.This included police uniforms from RCMP,Police identification,a ballestic vest and paramedic uniforms.

One of the males was arrested on outstanding warrants from Victoria and both males arrested are expected to make an appearance in Nanaimo Provincial court today.
