All Open Burning BannedCaptain Doug Bell has issued a ban on All Open Burning until further notice. This is due to the hot dry weather we have been experiencing making Fire Conditions in the Nanaimo area extremely high.
This ban includes all Backyard Burning, Campfires and Cooking Fires outside a private campground and Ceremonial Fires.
