Water Costs More Than Gas

$2 For 2 Bottles Of Water

The Petro Canada station at the corner of Norwell and the Island Hwy. is selling water for more than they are selling gasoline these days!

Why anyone in Nanaimo would buy bottled water is beyond me. Have they never tasted the tap water here? Does everyone assume that all city water tastes of chlorine and smells like a swamp?

Bottled water is an absolute necessity if you happen to live in a large center like Toronto where drinking water is taken from the same lake industry dumps its junk and the city flush theirs. But Nanaimo's water is about as pristine as it comes.

If you are willing to pay $1.00 for a bottle of water in Nanaimo, I've got a great deal for ya on some swampland. :^)
