Remembrance Day Ceremonies In Nanaimo

Branch 256 Legion starts the day with a public breakfast from 7:00 - 9:00 AM at 1630 East Wellington Road, there will also be a members remembrance ceremony at 9:15AM at the branch cenotaph.

Members of Branch 256 will meet with members from Branch 10 Legion, RCMP, Nanaimo Fire Rescue, active military personnel, cadet organizations and other service and youth groups on Church Street behind St. Paul's Anglican Church at 10:30 am.

From there they will march to the downtown cenotaph on Church Street for the traditional Remembrance Day Service.

Both branches of the Legion will be hosting other events during the day beginning with a lunch at either location.
