Do yourself a favour and stop by Westwood Lake to enjoy some of what makes Nanaimo, Nanaimo.
The crisp cool clean air tempered by the warm rays of the sun make for a delightful atmosphere to take in the scenery at this popular Nanaimo lake.
To local geese and ducks are almost tame allowing you to get some neat closeups if you are a camera buff. If not, just watching them lazily going about their day is most relaxing.
It is good to just go someplace where you can 'tune out' the noise of the days events and enjoy the simpler things of life.
