Nanaimo Jobs Page Added to Blog
You will find a new tab on the top of this page titled 'Nanaimo Jobs' where you will find links to most sites which have current postings for jobs in Nanaimo or the immediate Nanaimo area.
While finding a job in Nanaimo may present many challenges, there are still many jobs being advertised which can be found using the links of the Nanaimo Jobs page HERE. In addition to relying on jobs that are being advertised making copies of your resume and cover letter, putting on your best clothes and simply going out an beating the bushes can still be a productive way of finding employment. Many businesses simply don't advertise beyond perhaps putting a sign in their window. Some may not advertise at all, but will be open to someone showing the initiative to 'cold call' and let them know you are serious about finding work.
Make no mistake, appearance and attitude go a long, long way when it comes to impressing a future employer. Want to make a serious impression??? Ever consider offering to work for a week for which you expect to get paid if hired, but will work for free if not hired??

There are no good office jobs in Nanaimo, especially for full time employment. I've been looking for months and even part time retail jobs are in short supply. I'm moving back to Vancouver.
