Hamperville Needs Turkeys This Year

Nanaimo Hamperville Needs Turkeys

The Nanaimo Christmas Hampers program at Hamperville is in need of more turkeys this year, to make sure all Nanaimo families will have lots of vitamin zzzzzzzz this Christmas.

They are currently running behind by about 100 turkeys from where they would like to be at this time during the program which sees a total of 460 turkeys distributed this year.

There are several options available to those wishing to help including:
  • buying a turkey and dropping it off at Hamperville
  • donate $35 to the Hamper program, which will buy a bird
  • use 188,000 Quality Foods points to purchase a turkey
  • transfer Thrifty's points to a Thrifty's card which can be donated to Hamperville
Hamper registration is open until Dec. 18 and the hampers will be distributed from Dec. 19 - 21st.

Nanaimo always comes through with this great community effort, and this year should be no different.
