Be sure to be downtown on Saturday night before 10:00 pm for the spectacular Quality Foods "Festival of Lights & Music" fireworks display in the Nanaimo harbour.
City buses will be running from 6:00 pm - 12:00 midnight to get people down to Maffeo Sutton Park, if you can, leave the car at home as parking will be very limited during this event.
