Street Fair A Popular Event
Commercial Street in downtown Nanaimo was wall to wall people on Saturday, many of whom had come down to see the Sailpast on Wheels Parade which is all part of the Bathtub Race Days and Marine Festival.
There was something of interest for all from the youngest to the oldest as fun and interesting displays mixed with fun things for the kids and food and entertainment everyone enjoyed.
Now, if we could just put our collective heads together and figure out how to make downtown Nanaimo known as the City of Festivals all summer long, we might really see the downtown revitalized.
