Nanaimo Swiss Chalet Closing

Nanaimo's only Swiss Chalet restaurant will be closing it's Country Club Centre outlet on Nov. 17.

Signs are in place notifying customers of the closure and thanking them for their support over the past fifteen years.

    Jim: Alberni Outpost is moving into that building.

    went there today hoping to lunch. big disappointment to see it gone. it was always full - what happened? hope another one opens soon. like in the comox valley!!!

    I think Courtenay or Comox would be a great location. We need more Swiss Chalets on the Island as it is a very Canadian Restaurant! I have been to the ones combined with Harvey's and they are not nearly as good (not the same fresh cut fries anyway).
