14th Annual Beer Festival

If you enjoy a 'cold one' you won't want to miss the 14th annual Beer Festival being held this Friday at Beban Park from 6:00 - 9:30 pm. Proceeds from the event with help the Nanaimo Kinsmen Club.
You will have the opportunity to sample over 40 different brews from a number of different breweries.
For $30 you will get a glass, brochure and eight tokens which entitles you to eight, four ounce sample glasses of the brews that strike your fancy. Additional tokens are available for $1 each.
You can get your tickets from the Tally-Ho beer and wine store, Northgate liquor store, Windward beer and wine, Longwood Brew Pub, Piper's Meats and Wellington liquor store.
Comment: I don't know if 32 oz. of beer over a three hour period means you should get a ride home, but probably would be a good idea.
