640 Non Fiction Books Available
The Vancouver Island Regional Library is participating in the unique, unprecedented e-book collection of 640 non fiction titles either in a branch or through their online website.
BC Books Online is collaboration between publishers and libraries to purchase electronic rights to a collection of non-fiction books by BC publishers and to make them accessible through public, school, and post-secondary libraries. It is the first time ever that publishers and libraries have come together with the objective to deliver digital content to an entire province.
To check out the 640 titles in the BC Books Online collection available through the Vancouver Island Regional Library use this Nanaimo Info LINK. When you visit this page you will be presented with all the titles available, if you find one of interest, click on the title and it will direct you to a page with the url to view online.
