SPCA: has presented the city of Nanaimo with a draft proposal of bylaws that deal with various issues dealing with animals, these range from the control of dangerous dogs to the sale of rabbits. The proposals have been received by the city and are being considered as a good source of information.
Larry Bush: if you know the whereabouts of this 31 year old man who has an attention deficit hyperactivity disorder who was living on Wakesiah Ave. you are asked to contact the local RCMP. The man's mother who lives in Ontario fears something is amiss with her son, as he has failed to keep in touch with her in recent months. Although they have not seen each other for sometime, it is unlike Mr. Bush to not regularly contact his mother. The RCMP opened a missing persons file on Feb. 18 in this matter.
