Tire iron wielding thief steals sunglasses
A
male armed with a small tire iron stole 4 pair of sunglasses from Lens Crafters,
located next to Walmart, in the Woodgrove Centre. The theft occurred
at approximately 1:30 pm on Tuesday January 5th.
The suspect
male entered the business and proceeded to the front display case. With tire
iron in hand, he attempted to open the display case but in doing so, knocked it
over causing the glasses to spill on to the floor. He grabbed random eyeglasses
then ran from the business into the east parking lot adjacent to Walmart.
Officers attended but were unable to locate the male.
The
suspect male suspect is white; he has a medium build and is between 35-45 years
old. He wore black pants and a camouflage jacket with a collar pulled up
concealing the lower part of his face.
