Fading Glory

One of the hundreds of hanging baskets adorning our city this past summer in all it's full blooming glory. This picture was taken the first week of August when the petunias were at their peak.

The same baskets as they now appear as we roll into fall. The bright colour of the petunias is now past as we head into a great Indian summer. What a summer it has been this year, hours and hours of sunshine and very few rain days to spoil anything.

The city staff responsible for the creation and placement of these great baskets need a well deserved 'Thank You' from the rest of us for making our city and lives a little brighter.

Until next summer . . . . .
