See Olympic Torch RelayRide City Bus For FREE
The regional transit system will be offering the public free bus rides from 3:30 pm until the end of the day, this Saturday Oct. 31.
They will also be running extra buses which should provide 15 minute service on many of it's regular routes. For more information use this LINK.
There will be courtesy parking in the Vancouver Island University lot so you can leave your car there and ride the bus downtown.
There will also be free parking at the Bastion Street Parkade and at the city lot adjacent the Howard Johnson Hotel. There will be no parking in Maffeo Sutton Park itself.
The Olympic Torch Festivities will run at Maffeo Sutton Park from 5:45 - 9:15 PM and should be a 'MUST SEE' family event for all.
