Ford Offers $100 To Test Drive Vehicles

Ford Offers Deals
To Stir Up Sales

Starting July 1 the Ford Motor Company says it will pay people $100 to test drive their vehicles. Now, just in case you are thinking about quitting your job and becoming a professional Ford car test driver, there is a catch.

In order to qualify for the $100 you have to buy a car from their competitors after taking a Ford test drive.

Ford is also offering customers the same discount given their employees on Ford and Lincoln vehicles. This amounts to a $6880 saving on a 2009 Edge SEL four wheel drive.

Ford is the only Detroit car maker that does not have it's hand in the taxpayers pocket during the current trouble the auto industry is experiencing.

  1. ...and Wheaton is charging $50,000 for a Camaro SS while Carter GM is selling the 2SS for $40,995. The salesmat at Wheaton didn't know if the one on their lot was a 2SS or the less expensive 1SS, as the dealer had removed all the paperwork from the car (to hide the MSRP?. The sales guy said that they had sold 10 at $50K. "A fool and his money are soon parted as the old adage goes.
