Blues Society Fundraiser
'Courtin' the January Blues' is a fundraiser in support of the Nanaimo Blues Society which hosts the Summertime Blues Festival this year Aug. 23 -25. Providing the night of cool rhythms will be Rick 'All Night' Becker and special guest Luv Train.
The event takes place at The Courts on Front Street Thursday Jan. 17 at 6:00 pm. The admission fee is $20 which includes salad, pasta and a beverage.
Last years Blues Festival provided two days of entertainment featuring more than 12 acts from Vancouver Island including the Nanaimo Blues All-Stars, Tidewater and the Glen Foster Group.
