Victoria Mayor In Front Of BEST Loo??
The above picture shows the mayor of Victoria proudly showing of an award from Cintas for the best public bathroom facility. The one pictured was purchased for $90,000 and looks like what we can expect to see added to Krall Plaza soon.
While very utilitarian it certainly begs the question "is that all $100,000 buys these days"?
I presume the unit locks for privacy, but wonder what happens if someone in a booze induced coma locks themselves in and has a snooze? Or how this doesn't turn into a shelter for someone living on the street, wanting to get out of the rain.
For $100,000 one might expect to also get a bidet thrown into the purchase.
Once installed I certainly hope Nanaimo competes for the coveted award from Cintas then the following would make great ad copy on travel brochures:
ENJOY THE BEST PLUMBED OUTHOUSE
ON THE GREATEST STREET IN CANADA
Look Out Victoria
Your Days Of Fame Are Numbered!
