The CBC is reporting BC Ferries Commissioner Gord Mactee wonders if Nanaimo and Salt Spring Island both need three ferry terminals each. He also wants the corporation to find more than $27 million by 2020.
It is also reported BC Ferries annual fare hikes could be capped at 1.9%. The suggestion that one of Nanaimo's terminals should be closed has been rejected by Transportation Minister Todd Stone.
