Spring Break Art Camp 2015
Spring Break Art Intensive
Ages 8 – 11
March 23 – 27, 9am – 12pm
This art camp will explore ideas and art from our two current exhibitions; Gleaners which is at the downtown gallery andRecord, (Re)create: Contemporary Coast Salish Art from the Salish Weave Collection which is at the campus gallery.
Students will learn about each of these shows and draw on the themes and various approaches to creating their own artworks by experimenting with a variety of media and forms.
They will enjoy an exhibition tour and slideshows of the artists’ work created especially for the camp to help inspire their work and learning.

Spring Break Art Camp takes place at Nanaimo Art Gallery's Art Lab, 150 Commercial Street.
