A National Post report says the Mayor of Halifax is confident there is no advantage to declaring a state of emergency to deal with the 50cm of snow they received on Wednesday. He is certain that city crews can dig the city out without declaring an emergency.
Meanwhile in Nanaimo, it does seem to be raining today, so we do have our weather-related issues as well. Sigh!
