Huffpost BC published what has to be the most Canadian picture of all time. It was shared on the BC RCMP Twitter page and was taken at a once-in-a-lifetime trip with his oldtimers' hockey team the Kaslo AfterBurners.
RCMP Cpl Shaun Begg had the picture taken to maybe use on a Christmas card or personal screen saver and had no idea the kind of fanfare his picture has gotten.
He and nine other members pooled their money for a helicopter excurison to Shamrock Lake which is at 9,000 feet on a glacial-fed lake in the Purcell Mountains. The team flew in and played a five hour game of shinny against another squad of 10 people from Western Canada.
