Premier Promises 'Predictable' Minimum Wage Increase

 Wage Increase

The Vancouver Sun reports Premier Christy Clark is promising to increase the minimum wage in B.C. but is not willing to support the $15/hr. the B.C. Federation of Labour is requesting.

She says her government is looking into establishing a predictable minimum wage increase which would allow business to plan ahead knowing there labour costs will be increasing. The report makes no mention of the possible increases being considered that would effect about 110,400 workers in the Province.
