GREAT NEWS FOR NANAIMOHARMAC MILL PURCHASED BY EMPLOYEES
The offer to purchase Harmac Pulp Mill was approved in court today it is reported in the local media.
The purchase price is said to be $30 million which was a joint offer by the employees and three unnamed investors.
As Arnie Bercov said, it is great to see what can be accomplished and that there is lots of work ahead to see the continued success of the mill.
This is an unexpected turn of events as probably most people thought the deal was not going to come together.
Again ..... GREAT NEWS for NANAIMO and the employees of Harmac.
