Nathan Barlow Raises the Victory SaluteThe unofficial winner of the 42nd annual GREAT International Bathtub Race was Nathan Barlow in tub #240!
There were no time records set this year, as the ocean beyond the protection of Departure Bay was choppier than what had been expected.
The weather was slightly overcast, but no rain which made for pretty near ideal conditions for the throngs of Marine Festival goers who lined Departure Bay Beach to watch the exciting finish to this years Nanaimo Bathtub Race.
As usual the Kiwanis 'Salmon on a Bun' was a sure hit with anyone with an appetite!
