Celebrity Millennium In Nanaimo Sept. 15
NOTE: The Celebrity Millennium developed propulsion problems in late August and had to cancel the rest of their season. The other two ships are still on schedule to visit Nanaimo, on the 15th and the 27th.
This weekend the third to last cruise ship of the season arrives in Nanaimo for the day, with the return of the Celebrity Millennium which is a large cruise ship.
This will be the second time the Millennium has used our new terminal.
During their visit there will be a market at Pioneer Plaza beside the Bastion. The ship will be in Nanaimo from 7:00 - 5:00 pm and the weather looks like it will be absolutely fantastic!
Another large ship is scheduled to arrive on Sept. 17 as the Norwegian Sun comes to town and on Sept. 27 the Celebrity Century will finish out the 2013 cruise ship season.
If you have some time you might want to head downtown and if you see some of our guests, make them feel welcome.
