Inappropriate Relationships With Students
It is reported in the Vancouver Sun, that Nanaimo visual arts teacher Matthew Lettington of Wellington Secondary has been suspended for 30 days due to inappropriate behaviour with students.
The teacher had also been suspended in 2009 for 20 days after which he finished a six-hour workshop on professional boundaries.
The recent suspension is the result of camping with five female students, going to movies, having students to his house and inappropriate comments on Facebook.
