Front Facade Facelift - Dickinson Crossing Plaza

The owners of the strip plaza at Dickinson Crossing Plaza are currently in the process of giving some of the buildings a facade facelift.

These types of renovations usually have nothing to do with the actual structure of the building but the purpose would seem to give the place a fresh new face which helps to keep attracting customers.

In some cases such facelifts can often translate into increased rents for the tenants as ultimately they are the ones that carry the costs of such developments.

I haven't gathered enough data for comparisons with other communities but I have the impression that Nanaimo merchants are paying pretty premium rental prices for the places they use for business.
