Statistics Can Say Anything You Want

When some statistical data can be used to support our opinions we are quick to quote them when making our argument about this or that.

The following was sent along by a reader which shows just exactly how you could twist a stat to pretty much prove it is OK to drink and drive:

A recent study indicated that 23% of all motor vehicle accidents are alcohol related. This means the remaining 77% were caused by people drinking water, coffee, soda, juice, energy drinks and stuff like that.

Therefore you should be aware of people not drinking alcohol as they cause three times as many accidents!
