Colliery Dams - The Never Ending Story

This article ran in the local Daily in May 2010. The article states: " A recent seismic hazard assessment found the Middle and Lower Chase River Dams wouldn't withstand a major earthquake."

I wonder when the city will be able to recover the hundreds of thousands of dollars that engineering firms have received for what is proving to be suspect results? What kind of moral or ethical standards are engineering firms held to anyway??

I have asked Mayor McKay what the city intends to do to recover the monies paid to KCB for their reports. I haven't yet received an answer. Stay tuned.
