Extra Sailings & Overlength Vehicle Savings


BC FERRIES ADDS EXTRA SAILINGS FOR THE SUMMER 
66% savings for overlength vehicles in effect on select routes 

VICTORIA – BC Ferries summer schedule starts June 24 through September 7, with extra sailings on the major routes as well as additional service on some of the minor routes to ensure smooth sailing for summer holiday travellers. Seasonal adjustments to sailing times will also be in effect on many routes.

The Tsawwassen – Swartz Bay route, which is the busiest route in the fleet, will be serviced by four vessels that will provide up to 32 sailings per day. The Horseshoe Bay – Departure Bay route will be serviced by three ships that will deliver up to 22 sailings per day. On the Tsawwassen – Duke Point route, two vessels will offer 16 sailings per day, seven days per week.

BC Ferries reminds summer travellers with vehicles longer than 20 feet, the “Size up the Savings” promotion is in effect on select sailings from now until September 13. Customers will pay only $2.00 per foot additional length charge (regularly $6.35) on the Tsawwassen – Swartz Bay and the Tsawwassen – Duke Point routes. The promotion applies to Wednesday and Saturday sailings starting at 4:00 p.m. and Sunday sailings before 9:00 a.m. for both routes, departing from either terminal.
