Silver Shadow Cruise Ship Visits Nanaimo

Silver Shadow Visits Nanaimo For First Time

The Silver Shadow, a 184 metre cruise ship with 382 passengers and 295 crew will be stopping in Nanaimo on Wednesday, July 15 from 12:00 noon until 11:00 PM.

She will be arriving in Nanaimo after cruising up the inside passage from Vancouver to Alaska and returning to Vancouver via Nanaimo. During her stay in Nanaimo passengers will be able to enjoy shore excurions both locally and throughout the region and many will spend their time in our downtown.

The Farmers' Market in Pioneer Plaza will be open and the cannon firing is scheduled for noon, 2:00 and 3:00 pm with passengers having the opportunity to fire the cannon. An RCMP member dressed in the iconic Red Serge will be available for photos to remember their stop by.
