Mid Island Co-op Tour de Rock Fundraiser
Spin/Shave-a-thon Sept. 18, 2010
Mid Island Co-op is committed to raising $20,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society Tour de Rock. We need your help to reach our fundraising goal by entering our Spin/Shave - a - thon on Sept. 18/10.
Spinners: Enter a team or participate as an individual. Spinners are required to ride for at least one hour. Each team/individual will be collecting donations in support of their team and the Canadian Cancer Society's Tour de Rock.
Shavers: If you don't like to spin, you can always shave your head for the cause. Or, better yer, challenge your boss to shave their head. Set a fundraising goal and collect donations to support the Cancer Society. If you reach the fundraising goal then your boss goes under the clippers!
Event Details
- Sat. Sept. 18/10, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at the Co-op on Bowen Rd.
- Stationary bikes and head shaving will be in the Co-op parking lot.
- There will be lots of activities including BBQ, raffle and draws.
Here are a few fundraising ideas to get you started:
Donation boxes, BBQ, bake sale, bottle drive, car wash, car smash (junkers only), beer and burger night, 50-50 tickets, silent auction, raffle a product or service, detail cars by donation, garage sale, mini-putt golf tournie, pancake breakfast, go door to door....just use your imagination!
Spread the word, get your team together and get started with your fundraising ...every dollar counts!
