Family Fun Nights In Nanaimo Summer 2015

Free family fun nights offered by the City

Summer nights this year are going to get even better with Family Fun Nights. As part of the Summer Playground Program, starting Wednesday, July 8, families can join the City of Nanaimo Parks, Recreation and Environment department along with Nanaimo Science & Sustainability Society (NS3) and Nanaimo Foodshare at various City parks for an evening of family-friendly activities.

In July (starting July 8), Family Fun Nights will be held on Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Country Hills Park, Carmanah Park and Mansfield Park.

In August, Family Fun Nights will be held on Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Mansfield Park and Rock Ridge Park and at Fairview Community School.

Family Fun Nights are held in partnership with Nanaimo Science & Sustainability Society (NS3) and Nanaimo Foodshare.

"Our Playground Program has become so popular we decided to extend the offering this year to include weekly Family Fun Nights! Join us all summer for plenty of activities in Nanaimo's playgrounds." - Deborah Beck Recreation Coordinator City of Nanaimo
