Break Out The Suntan Lotion
If the weatherman has it right it looks like our long awaited summer will finally arrive this week. With nothing but sunny blue skies and high temperatures in the forecast this looks like the first real week of summer.
Be sure to use common sense when it comes to the amount of time you are exposed to the hot noon day sun. In case you have forgotten the glowing orb can cause a lot of discomfort if you bake under it for too long.
Break out the burgers and hot dogs, and don't forget the watermelon and in the evening what better place to cool down than at one of our many lovely beaches. Take your choice fresh water lake, or salt water seashore, Nanaimo has it all!
