In accordance with an order issued by the Province, the City of Nanaimo must have the auxiliary spillway substantially completed by Nov 15.

Members of the public seeking previous information updates concerning the Colliery Dams are encouraged to visit the Colliery Dam Information page located on the City's website.

"The time lines required to complete this project on time are incredibly tight.  Cooperation between all parties will be needed if we are to meet the Nov 15 deadline set by the Province."  -  Bill McKay Mayor City of Nanaimo
