This is the sixth in what I know will be a welcome addition to Nanaimo Info Blog.
Lifelong Nanaimo resident, professional artist and illustrator Dale Schulz 'sees' much of Nanaimo many of us simply walk by without giving a second thought.
Through the eyes of an artist the everyday can become almost magical and with a few simple photos of his daily walks, Dale captures and shares some of that magic on his Facebook page.
The following is the most recent example of what Dale sees when he walks about our lovely seaside community many of us just take for granted.

Well, FINALLY! Photos for today. So sorry it took all day to get these posted folks. I've had a killer headache all day - wasn't even sure if my photos were passable today. Indy and I walked downtown yet again!
But we walked around Harewood Mall (University Village) where I found a funny #signofinfinity - on a 'Green Cigarette' package. Good thing that smoker cares about the environment!
I took a bunch of pictures at Pioneer Plaza - of the fountain, Cameron Island, and the Bastion. I also snapped a shot of the cannons on Front Street with the Dorchester Hotel behind.
At home I got a rushed shot of a beautiful big Swallowtail Butterfly.
