77 sleeping units when complete
The corner of Rutherford and Wills Road is the scene of a multi-storey building project with the cement stairwells and elevator shafts occupying the scene.
A fairly large crane dominates the sky above the site and a small fleet of working folks trucks line the sidewalk adjacent the work site.
When complete the 4 storey project will provide 77 sleeping units owned by a company called Nanaimo Memory Care Inc. which is a company out of Brentwood Bay.
Local building contractor Windley Construction is the general contractor of the project.
