Lifelong Nanaimo resident, professional artist and illustrator Dale Schulz 'sees' much of Nanaimo many of us simply walk by without giving a second thought.
Through the eyes of an artist the everyday can become almost magical and with a few simple photos of his daily walks, Dale captures and shares some of that magic on his Facebook page.
The following is the most recent example of what Dale sees when he walks about our lovely seaside community many of us just take for granted.

Dale's Post - May 29/16
Not a lot of photos from today's walk - but a couple nice ones. Today Indy and I met my son Devon for coffee on the waterfront. Thanks for the coffee, Son - it was great seeing you! On the way down there I took these shots.
On Columbia Street some beautiful purple and yellow daisies in the yard of my friends Joe and Wynn. An #abandonedbench on Needham Street near Princess Avenue. An #abandonedchair on Fry Street. Two photos of a friendly little garter snake in a yard on Farquhar and Irwin Streets; and a view of Mt. Benson under clouds from Port Place Shopping Centre (formerly Harbour Park Mall).
