FREE Youth Concert - Thurs. May 26/16 - Nanaimo

The Port Theatre Society presents
AMP IT UP! Free Youth Concert
with Gay Nineties, Lovecoast, Ian Perry
Thursday, May 26, 7:00pm

We're one week away from AMP IT UP! a free night out for the youth of Nanaimo with great live music, free food from Mambo's Gourmet Pizza and Thrifty Foods, and a LIVE Green Screen photobooth courtesy of the Hub City Cinema Society.

AMP IT UP! is headlined by Vancouver rockers Gay Nineties, whose undeniable live show will have you feeling freaked out, alive, and free. We're also showing off young local talent coming straight out of Nanaimo. Lovecoast's blend of old soul, fresh pop and hard hitting grooves has graced stages at the Pemberton Music Festival 2015 and JUNOfest 2016. Nanaimo teen Ian Perry began performing at the age of nine and has since built an impressive resume including performances with Loverboy and Shaun Verreault of Wide Mouth Mason, plus gigs at the BC Summer Games and Nanaimo's Summertime Blues Festival. Read more.
