Premier Clark Announces Funding For E & N
Today Premier Christy Clark announced the province will fund the E & N Rail with the amount of $7.5 million which is contingent upon matching funds from the ICF partners.
Half a million of the funding is intended to be used to evaluate the condition of the rail line including the numerous trestles and bridges on the line.
MP James Lunney was also present at the announcement but apparently he did not bring the federal government wallet with him.
